Things not to be happy about:
- My dear friend B— moving to Italy this week.
- Ice storms.
- The zipper on my coat breaking…and we’re having ice storms.
- Joining Friendster, and having precisely two friends.
- Having to move…and then having to move again in six months.
- Not getting to talk to my sister on her birthday (happy birthday, Suzie!!), mostly due to my own incompetence.
- Everything else.
Things to be happy about:
- …
Things of no importance either way:
- I added a link to my poetry group’s website to my menu.
- I updated the photos link on the menu to point to my new photo galleries area.
- I actually put a few photos in the photo galleries, including shots from Gavin’s wedding, Garden of the Gods, holidays with the family, and some public art installations in Colorado Springs.
- I fixed the color selector so it works now.
- I’m reading Baudelaire now, even a bit in French. Good stuff, that is. Actually, maybe that should go in the “happy” list.

Hey Mike!
I realize that intelligence can lead to depression as we eggheads contemplate our insignificance, but, please, snap out of the existentalism! Pessimism is NOT a survival trait! My $0.02, anyway.

P.S When you discover that the glass is half full, or at least contains beer, see if you can find the time to respond to my e-mail, as I would gladly join you on friendster. (does that make me friend #3? ….)

You can Friendster me. Of course, I think it’s mad lame and barely touch it.

I’m seeing the lameness, but my roomie’s fiancée said I should, and I have nothing better to do with my time. It turns out, though, that there are a number of honeys in my network who just happen to be in the Cambridge area. I don’t know any of them, of course, but they’re there for the window shopping… I know some people who know some people who know some very beautiful people, as it turns out.

I can attest to the existence of beautiful Cambridgean girls. Harvard Square on a sunny day can be a painful sight. I advise blindness.

Well, if what the nuns told me is true, I should be well on my wa…ait a minute. Maybe I shouldn’t put that on my website…
